MEET DR. JAMES ROGERS

James K. Rogers, DDS, MS

Dr. James Rogers received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1989 from the highly regarded Northwestern Dental School located in Chicago, IL.  He was accepted into the Periodontal Residency Program at Northwestern University in 1989 and graduated with a Certificate in Periodontology in 1991.

With 18 years of experience, Dr. Rogers has completed advanced training courses that include many facets of periodontal care such as laser technology, periodontal plastic procedures, advanced bone grafting/ridge augmentation, and all aspects of dental implants.  In private practice for the last 12 years as owner of Canyon Ridge Periodontics, Dr. Rogers has devoted his practice to periodontal care and patient education.  He has a special interest in restoring oral health through the placement of dental implants.  Dr. Rogers is one of only a few periodontists in Las Vegas performing the All-on-4 implant technique with Nobel Biocare implants.

Dr. Rogers is the Director of the Summerlin Chapter of the Spear Study Club in Las Vegas.  He has served as a guest lecturer for the College of Southern Nevada for the Dental Hygiene Program and continues to mentor the dental hygiene students for their clinical rotations in his office.

As an active member in the dental community, Dr. Rogers memberships include the American Dental Association, Nevada Dental Association, Clark County Dental Association and Southern Nevada Dental Association.  In addition, Dr. Rogers is also a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and International Congress of Oral Implantology.
